Its not every day that an Interior Designer would take on a project to install drainage, and level off a 500sqm area to make it suitable for children to use as a playground. I welcomed the challenge and with the expert of Michael & his team from Dalkey Landscapes, we got the task underway.

This area was unusable a lot of the year for the school children as it was prone to getting water logged as soon as there was rain. It was a muck patch for days and even weeks on end, so this had to be rectified before any play equipment could be purchased. From beginning to end it took a little under

three weeks to complete. It is great that the children now have a lovely safe area finished with Astro Turf to play on.
