Regardless of the size of a Kitchen, the main thing to get right is the design of a space. It takes time and effort to ensure you have what you want regarding the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space you are working on. From choosing the overall design, colour of cabinetry, worktop finish, handles, lighting, flooring and appliances must all compliment each other.

This kitchen space needed modernising and a more functional layout. There was very little worktop space to work from, and very little storage presses, so these issues had to be addressed. It is much more functional than the previous kitchen. The sink was moved to the window area and a breakfast bar was introduced. Instead of a Galley Kitchen, it was changed to a Peninsula style, The kitchen cabinetry is Alderley Blue, while the Bar Counter is Cashmere creating a lovely contrast. The Starry Night white quartz worktop finishes off this space. Antique Brass Handles & Knobs on the cabinetry are a perfect match for the large Light Pendant combining three Antique Brass circles with white glass bulbs over the Bar Counter creating task lighting for working in that area. Overall it gives a lovely ambient glow to the room.
